
11 people are reported to have died in a plane crash in France.
Authorities were responding to an incident involving a civilian aircraft in the town of Tomblaine in northeastern France on Sunday, the local prefecture said.
Newspaper L’Est Republicain reported a plane that was transporting a group of skydivers had crashed.
The pilot and 10 skydivers reportedly died in the incident.
Police have reportedly urged people to avoid the area around the airport in the Meurthe-et-Moselle region.
