Democrats gave another example of how clueless they are with a post from their official Democratic Party X account that is being blasted, including by at least one prominent Democrat.
They posted the pictures of the 13 service members who have died so far in Operation Epic Fury, saying, “We honor the American heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in Trump’s war with Iran.” They repeated over pictures, “Remembering the Americans who have died in Trump’s war with Iran.”

You have to wonder what they were thinking, whoever the person was behind that post. But it’s so consistent with all their other attack posts, it probably didn’t even occur to that person. And that’s really twisted. Hey, Democrats, it’s not about service to a person or a party; it’s about service to the nation.
After the post was inundated for hours with criticism for posting such a crass, political thing using the faces of slain service members, especially on Memorial Day, the Democrats’ account finally deleted the post.
The Pentagon let them have it:

“Politicizing the sacrifice of American soldiers on Memorial Day… Absolutely disgraceful,” Arizona GOP congressional candidate and former NFL kicker Jay Feely wrote. “Despicable post from the Democrats.”
Even Democrat Sen. Tammy Duckworth (IL) blasted it, calling the post by the DNC “incredibly distasteful.”

Good for her, and more Democrats should have done so.
The problem is this wasn’t some isolated mistake. Whether it’s embracing Graham Platner despite his vile comments about service members or posting tone-deaf political attacks on Memorial Day, Democrats keep showing they still haven’t learned anything from the shellacking they took in 2024.
