Here's the Democrat House Primary Result We Can Have a Good Chuckle Over – RedState

We saw the socialist takeover debacle on Tuesday night in the congressional races in New York City, with three socialists winning, after they were endorsed by Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

That should concern everyone, as even more radical leftists get positions of power in our government. Democrats have opened the door to this, and now they’re scrambling trying to figure out what to do as the socialists even threaten to take out their leaders at the ballot box, like House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08). But this exposes, again, how radical the Democrats have become, and how the Republicans have to do all they can to stop them. And while it’s more obvious in New York, it’s creeping in elsewhere as well.

But I will note that there was one race where the “moderate’ (and, of course, with the Democrats, that still means liberal) won. Micah Lasher was running to replace Rep. Jerrold Nadler (NY-12), who is retiring and had endorsed Lasher. What makes it special, and actually quite hilarious, was who lost in the process.

We need to take a moment and have a good chuckle at what happened here. CNN commentator and Salem Media host Scott Jennings had a good laugh.

George Conway, the Lincoln Project co-founder who’s known for his hatred of President Donald Trump, got beaten badly. Turns out that hating on Trump isn’t enough to win a primary race, even with Democrats.

As a bonus, you’ll notice who also went down in flames there – Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of John F. Kennedy. Schlossberg is mostly known for the bizarre posts he’s made on social media.

According to Ballotpedia, Conway spent $5,734,432, more than any of the other candidates. He spent a tremendous amount in such a race to come in 5th, with only 6,177 votes. That’s only about six percent of the vote.

This was the kind of “campaigning” he was doing. Among the things he was promising was trying to impeach Trump.

Warning for graphic gesture:

Something tells me Conway isn’t going to be impeaching anyone anytime soon.

He also wasted a ton of money trying to get Joe Biden elected in 2024. This is what Jennings was referencing when he talked about “crying.” Conway donated almost a million dollars to the effort.

That’s maximum anti-Trump syndrome right there.
