Janice Dickinson shocked the world when she shared the dramatic results of her facelift last week.
The TV personality and businesswoman, 71, certainly looked very different from when she dominated the modeling industry during the 1970s and 1980s.
Dickinson has never been shy about her love of cosmetic enhancements and has admitted to undergoing several plastic surgeries over the years.
Her many procedures have prompted shock from even her most dedicated fans over the years, with the fashion star’s chameleon-esque habit of changing up her appearance leading critics to regularly brand her as ‘unrecognizable.’
The star, who has declared herself as the world’s first supermodel, was skyrocketed into the spotlight in the early 1970s and appeared on the covers of top magazines like Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Vogue and Playboy and worked with acclaimed fashion houses including Versace, Oscar de la Renta and Calvin Klein when she was young.
She faded from the spotlight in the 90s, only to shoot back to superstardom when she joined America’s Next Top Model as a judge in 2003.
The catwalk queen then landed her own series, The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, which ran for four seasons.
She got her first surgery in 1987 at age 32 while she was dating Sylvester Stallone.

‘What point in your career were you like, “I’m gonna start getting surgery done?”‘ Kaitlyn Bristowe asked the model during an appearance on the Off The Vine podcast in 2024.
‘Oh, gosh. I was dating Sylvester Stallone, and I was 32,’ Dickinson replied. ‘I noticed I started getting jowls…’
To tackle the issue, Dickinson said she got a ‘mini facelift’ done.
A mini face-lift is meant to address early signs of aging as it corrects sagging on the lower third of the face.
It requires smaller incisions than a regular facelift, minimal downtime, and the results can last up to 10 years.
When asked if she ‘regretted’ any of her past surgeries, Dickinson replied at the time: ‘Oh, no.’
Over the years, Dickinson has also admitted to getting a breast enlargement, tummy tuck, neck lift and liposuction. She’s also tried injectables like Botox.
In 2007, her son Nathan said he was desperate for her to stop going under the knife, a plea to which the model responded: ‘I won’t do any more plastic surgery – if he’s looking.’

And in 2013, she declared herself bankrupt after it was revealed that she owed almost $1 million in taxes and unpaid cosmetic bills.
At the time of her bankruptcy filing, the star owed $8,000 to Beverly Hills dermatologist Arnold Klein and over $8,000 in debt to the Beverly Hills Anti-Aging Center.
In 2015, she famously appeared on the show Botched to fix a breast enlargement done 30 years prior which had left her with rippling across her breasts.
During the episode, the former model was seen swearing, demanding drugs and, after her implants were replaced, walking around naked, which led Dr Terry Dubrow to brand her his worst patient ever.
Earlier this year, Dickinson claimed that her face has been permanently disfigured from a fall she suffered while filming the UK reality series I’m A Celebrity… South Africa in late 2022.
The legendary model was forced to quit the show when she tripped in the dark while going to the bathroom at night during taping.
She said she suffered injuries to her head, lips, cheeks and wrists during the fall and that she was left with nerve damage that affected her speech, eating and drinking.
She ended up filing a personal injury claim against UK broadcaster ITV at the High Court, seeking $940,000 in damages.

In court documents obtained by The Sun, show executives fought back, stating: ‘The participants were advised to use lavatories and complete activities before retiring to their beds.
‘An acceptable level of night-time lighting had been collectively agreed on the first night and there were no objections made.
‘The camp layout was not varied or altered, but fixed. There was a smooth unobstructed earthen surface around the campfire and bench vicinity and this path surface continued out to the lavatories.’
They added that Dickinson was ‘the author of her own misfortune’ and that she ‘was attempting unnecessarily to pass between or over one of the fixed campfire benches when she could have walked round them.’
Earlier this week, plastic surgeon Dr Harrison Lee revealed on Instagram that Dickinson received a full facial overhaul in February.

Dr Lee is no stranger to handling celebrity makeovers, having previously worked on Caitlyn Jenner and Dylan Mulvaney.
He shared that Dickinson underwent an endoscopic brow and mid-facelift, a deep plane facelift, a dual plane neck lift, a subnasal lip lift and an extensive fat transfer to turn back the clock.
On top of that, she also had a full face CO2 laser resurfacing to rejuvenate her complexion.
Dr Lee, who is a triple board-certified surgeon, said that Dickinson was ‘beyond ecstatic’ while sharing the results.
Photos taken three months after the procedures show Dickinson looking noticeably younger and fresher than she did before, with fewer wrinkles and much smoother skin.
‘I f**king love it,’ gushed the former America’s Next Top Model judge in a comment.
