President Donald Trump’s teenage granddaughter, Kai, has been granted a restraining order against her 26-year-old alleged stalker.
The 19-year-old daughter of Don Jr. and his ex-wife Vanessa Trump filed a petition in Florida against a man named Gabriel Garza Jr. in April, according to TMZ.
In a court hearing, Kai described Garza as a homeless man living in his car around the areas of Jupiter and Palm Beach County.
Kai was initially granted a temporary restraining order in April, which a judge extended until May 2027 during a May 14 hearing.
The order prohibits Garza from stalking, cyberstalking, or committing any criminal offense resulting in physical injury or death.
The alleged stalker is banned from going within 500 ft of Kai’s home or place of work.
Trump’s granddaughter announced on May 4 that she would be attending the University of Miami, where Garza will reportedly not be allowed to approach her as well.
Initially, the hearing was set April 30, but Kai requested that it be rescheduled for the following Thursday so she would not miss her final day of high school.

The granddaughter previously dealt with another stalker on June 3, 2025, when Anthony Thomas Reyes, 23, allegedly scaled the walls of the president’s Mar-a-Lago resort and made an indecent proposal to marry her.
Reyes also allegedly said to officers that he was also looking for Trump because he wanted to talk about ‘the gospel.’
The president was in Washington D.C. at the time, and his granddaughter was vacationing in the Bahamas.
The teenage golfer was a familiar face on Trump’s campaign trail and has amassed adoring fans, sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses of her bond with her grandpa on social media.
She was recently spotted with her mother, shortly after the 48-year-old announced she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Vanessa and Kai were seen strolling through a shopping mall in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Sunday.
The mother said she had undergone a ‘procedure’ earlier in the week, in a post on Instagram on Wednesday.
Kai recently graduated from high school and announced that she will be attending the University of Miami

Vanessa was later noticeably absent as Kai, her eldest daughter with Don Jr, celebrated her high school graduation later that day.
The teenager had posted an image on her own Instagram Stories, showing her alongside her mother, wearing her blue cap and gown.
‘The strongest person I know,’ she wrote on the image.
She also shared a video that showed her getting ready for her big day, as her mother remarked, ‘I can’t believe she’s graduating today.’
Kai was seen in photos exclusively obtained by the Daily Mail meeting her grandmother, Bonnie Haydon, and aunt, Veronika Haydon, at celebrity hotspot The Mark in New York City for dinner.

Vanessa’s outing with her daughter came just one day after her ex, Don Jr, married Bettina Anderson in an intimate wedding.
The loved-up couple headed to the glamorous Bahamas after their Palm Beach ceremony for a sun-soaked event limited to their closest friends and family members, including Tiffany and Ivanka Trump.
Don Jr’s father was not in attendance at the Bahamas ceremony, but the couple is hoping to hold a third wedding celebration at the White House in the future, where the President and Melania Trump can attend, sources told People.
