
If you’re wearing a moisturiser or foundation with SPF on a summer’s day, you might think that your face is fully protected. But here’s the thing, it’s probably not.
I’ve interviewed lots of dermatologists, and many of them say that while these multi-tasking products can help, they’re not enough to protect your skin on their own. One doctor explained that this is because when they test SPF in labs, they use a much higher quantity than anyone actually puts on their skin.
There are also areas of the skin that are often missed, and these are the most prone to skin damage.
