Paul “PK” Kemsley is addressing accusations that he and his estranged wife, Dorit Kemsley, are pretending to be divorcing for the sake of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
PK, 57, and Dorit, 48, announced their separation in May 2024 after nine years of marriage, but neither has formally filed for divorce.
Bravo cameras captured the pair as they dealt with the split for the current season of RHOBH, which is still airing new episodes.
Dorit has been discussing the separation with her castmates after PK decided to move into a new apartment without consulting her beforehand.
However, some viewers and reality TV insiders have questioned whether the couple’s storyline is genuine. Among them is Bravo executive producer Carlos King, who accused PK and Dorit of “fooling the audience” with their divorce drama.
PK spoke exclusively to DailyMail.com at the Planet Hollywood Grand Opening Party in Times Square on March 11, discussing what it has been like to watch the season unfold and sharing an update on his relationship with Dorit.

“I’m watching it sporadically. People seem to like it,” PK said.
“Listen, it is what it is. Things are incomplete. Things are not entirely as I’d like them presented. But we made the bed, so we’re in it, aren’t we?”
In a recent episode of RHOBH, Dorit told the cast that PK had sent her a seven-page email that allegedly addressed their finances and threatened to seek custody of their two children, Jagger, 11, and Phoenix, 9.
During another episode, Dorit accused PK of being an absent father, claiming he would “disappear and be gone for weeks and weeks or months even, without even calling the kids.”
When the former couple met at a restaurant to discuss their problems, PK raised Dorit’s alleged “control issues,” while she confronted him about the email and their “different views” on the breakdown of their marriage.
Although RHOBH castmates Erika Jayne, Bozoma Saint John and Sutton Stracke have offered Dorit advice about divorce, she has not yet filed legal documents.
“There’s nothing to update. We’re navigating co-parenting,” PK told DailyMail.com.
He insisted that the situation between him and Dorit is “very real,” despite Carlos King’s claims to the contrary.

On his Reality With the King podcast in December 2024, Carlos claimed he had been told that Dorit and PK were using the divorce storyline to generate income and that Dorit was highlighting PK’s alleged alcoholism.
“I’m being told that allegedly, Dorit and PK are fooling the audience with this divorce storyline based on his alcoholism,” King said. He also claimed the couple was in urgent need of money. According to Celebrity Net Worth, PK and Dorit have an alleged combined net worth of $50 million.
During the season 14 premiere of RHOBH, Dorit said PK had once been a “full-blown alcoholic.” After becoming sober, however, PK said he realized that the problems in their marriage ran much deeper.
In December, PK revealed on Bravo’s Hot Mic Podcast that he had been sober for nearly a year.
“My alcoholism had an element of responsibility in relation to the breakdown of our marriage. But that was just a component, right?” he said.
“And the truth is, if you understand the disease, alcoholism is a symptom. It’s not a cause, so the reality is you have to get to what the cause was underneath.”

“So it’s just not as simple as saying he was a ‘full-blown alcoholic’ and that’s why we’re separated,” he continued.
On March 8, PK and Dorit reunited to watch their son play in a Little League baseball game.
The former couple shared separate Instagram posts showing their support for their son.
“I’m with them every weekend. They’re with me. We celebrated the birthdays together in the last few weeks. The kids are good,” PK told DailyMail.com.
Although PK and Dorit continue to spend time together for their children, he revealed that they did not reunite to film the RHOBH reunion. Kyle Richards reportedly walked off the set during discussions about her separation from Mauricio Umansky.
PK also said he was “pretty done” with filming and suggested that he does not expect to return for season 15 when production begins.
Kyle, 56, and Mauricio, 54, have also not filed for divorce after confirming their separation in October 2023.

Kyle and Dorit have clashed this season over the fact that Kyle continued texting PK after he and Dorit separated.
The mother of three said the messages consisted only of memes and emojis. However, a text she sent to PK—and later read aloud to her castmates—suggested a closer relationship.
It read: “I know you have a lot of friends but I am one and here when you need me. I’ve never repeated anything you’ve shared with me and never would. (Meaning you can trust me always.) Will keep sending memes and won’t forget laughing emojis.”
After walking the red carpet at Planet Hollywood’s grand opening on Tuesday, PK joined his longtime friend Boy George inside the venue. The talent manager also showed off his weight loss, which he has attributed to taking Mounjaro.
When asked whether he had arrived as “Single PK,” a phrase Dorit used on RHOBH, he replied: “That was a joke at the time. Single PK isn’t all it’s cut out to be.”
Boy George, who DJed at the party, also shared his thoughts on PK and Dorit in a separate interview with DailyMail.com.
“I want them to be happy. I want everyone to be happy. You know what I mean? That’s my starting point with everything.”

“So I hope that they stay friends. I’m godparent to the children, so they’re not getting rid of me any time soon,” he said.
“The kids are amazing. The kids are so beautiful, and that’s kind of what I always think about—Jagger and Phoenix, their future. That reality show!”
Boy George and PK also teamed up with pop star Sia to release a new version of Culture Club’s “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me.”
“I write about them all the time. Obviously in a very underhanded way—I don’t necessarily say, ‘This is about you,’” the songwriter joked, referring to Dorit and PK.
“But when you’re writing songs, you know, it’s about love. Love and communication.
“All relationships in the end are about how you communicate with each other, and any relationship, whether it’s a friendship or love affair, can only really continue if there is an involvement in the way you think.”
The star-studded Planet Hollywood event showcased the restaurant’s newly redesigned space and was hosted by Boy George, Alec and Hilaria Baldwin, 50 Cent and the chain’s CEO, Robert Earl.
The evening also featured appearances by Pete Davidson, Arnold Schwarzenegger and his son Patrick Schwarzenegger, Whoopi Goldberg, Liev Schreiber, as well as several stars from The Real Housewives of New York City and The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
