Pregnant Savannah Chrisley reveals baby's sex after coming clean about marriage to convicted fraudster

Savannah Chrisley announced Monday that she and her husband, Jason Galanis, are expecting a baby boy.

“IT’S A BOY!!!” the 29-year-old reality star wrote on Instagram. “My sweet miracle boy… you are everything we prayed for and more. The most beautiful reminder that God’s plans are always greater than our own.”

Chrisley shared a video showing her kissing Galanis, 56, and celebrating the news with her family. Among those present were her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, who gathered on a lawn as the family cut into a cake and looked at ultrasound images.

Blue baby clothes, white shoes and children’s books were also arranged for the emotional gender-reveal celebration.

In text displayed over the video, Chrisley called her son her “sweet miracle” and said he was “everything we prayed for and more.” She added that his arrival was “the most beautiful reminder that God’s plans are always greater than our own.”

“The past few days have reminded me just how cruel this world can be,” she continued. “But no amount of hate could ever overshadow the joy of loving you. You are a MIRACLE.”

The Daily Mail has contacted Savannah Chrisley’s representatives for additional comment.

News of the gender reveal comes after Chrisley said last week that she had secretly married Galanis back in July ¿ three months before the couple went public to uncover her pregnancy

The gender reveal followed Chrisley’s disclosure last week that she secretly married Galanis in July, three months before the couple publicly announced her pregnancy

Chrisley promised that she and Galanis “will spend the rest of our lives protecting you, praying over you, and loving you beyond measure.”

“We may not be able to shield you from every bit of darkness in this world, but we promise to raise you to be a LIGHT in it,” she wrote.

“You are already our greatest blessing, our answered prayer, and the sweetest chapter of our lives.”

She concluded: “God knew exactly what He was doing when He gave us YOU. WE GET TO BE YOUR MOMMY AND DADDY!!!”

The announcement came days after Chrisley revealed that she and Galanis had quietly wed in July, three months before confirming their pregnancy publicly.

People confirmed on Thursday that the couple married on July 14, 2026, in the Cayman Islands.

Chrisley and Galanis exchanged vows during an intimate ceremony at Cayman Islands Baptist Church after dating for a year.

Galanis gave the reality star an oval-cut diamond ring that he designed with Genovese Jewelers, a jewelry store based in St. Louis.

The Cayman Islands holds particular significance for the couple. Galanis proposed to Chrisley there in December 2025, a detail she revealed for the first time during Tuesday’s episode of her podcast.

Galanis, 56, was sentenced in September 2020 to more than 15 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to orchestrating two financial fraud operations, one of which targeted a Native American tribe and investors for millions

Savannah confirmed that she and her now-husband, whom she initially referred to only as 'J,' are expecting their first child together on Tuesday's episode of her podcast

Savannah confirmed on Tuesday’s podcast that she and her husband, initially identified only as “J,” are expecting their first child together

During the same podcast episode, Savannah confirmed that she and her husband—whom she had previously referred to only as “J”—are expecting their first child together.

Us Weekly later identified him as Jason Galanis. Federal authorities have said he was previously sentenced to more than 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to taking part in multiple fraudulent schemes.

Galanis was sentenced in September 2020 after pleading guilty earlier that year to running two financial fraud operations. One allegedly targeted a Native American tribe and investors for millions of dollars, according to federal authorities.

After Galanis’ identity became public Tuesday, Chrisley responded by posting a brief sonogram video on Instagram and declaring that her baby is “innocent.”

As part of his sentence, Galanis was ordered to forfeit more than $80 million, including properties in Los Angeles and New York, and pay more than $80 million in restitution.

Galanis was previously a business associate of Hunter Biden. In March 2024, while still in custody, he testified before a Republican impeachment inquiry into former President Joe Biden.

Savannah’s father, Todd Chrisley, discussed the relationship Thursday while appearing on the podcast Dumb Blonde.

“He’s 20 years older, and it was not something I embraced because, I mean, to the point that I had a choice to make,” Todd said. “It was either embrace my daughter’s decision or lose my daughter, and nothing is ever coming between me and my daughter.”

“I love Savannah with my heart and soul, but did I advocate for this? No,” he continued. “But I will tell you that he has treated her with the utmost respect.”

In March 2025, President Donald Trump commuted Galanis’ sentence, months before issuing pardons to Todd and Julie Chrisley over their 2022 bank-fraud and tax-evasion convictions.

Prosecutors had alleged that Todd and Julie obtained millions of dollars in bank loans through fraudulent means.

The couple was also accused of concealing income to avoid paying taxes.

Trump said in May of last year that the Chrisleys had received “a pretty harsh treatment” based on what he had been told.

Savannah, who endorsed Trump in a 2024 speech at the Republican National Convention, said officials in his administration had “seen the corruption” involved in her parents’ case.

“I didn’t have to do anything other than stand firm in my beliefs and my convictions and fight for my parents,” she said at the time.

On her podcast Unlocked, Savannah has also discussed her relationship with Galanis and their 27-year age difference.

“I have always said, ‘I would rather [have] 20 phenomenal, unbelievable years with someone than 50 just [fine] years,’” she explained.

“It’s just such an amazing, fulfilling feeling to finally find your person. And I’m there. So yes, the age difference. So what?” she said.

Chrisley has described Galanis as her “best friend,” saying they share a deep “love and respect” and do everything together.

The Chrisley Knows Best star has also spoken about the future she and Galanis are building as they prepare for parenthood.

“We have so many dreams … together, we work together … we want to have life experiences with each other,” Savannah said. “And I think that’s when you know you have the right person, when you don’t feel like you have to escape them at times.”

She said on her podcast that she and Galanis have enjoyed a “dream relationship” since beginning their romance in July 2025.

“Our relationship as a whole has been absolutely amazing,” she said. “It has been the dream relationship that any woman could hope to be in. There hasn’t been drama and chaos and dysfunction. There has been absolutely none of that.”
