One of the hosts during an esports tournament, Zha Zha, garnered some negative feedback online for her choice of clothing.

Online users in China claimed the woman had been forced to dress that way by organisers.

This claim was debunked by Zha.

That, however, did little to stop people from speculating that the company was dictating her attire.

To counter this, she dressed in a way where that would leave little doubt she was being subjected to company approval.

According to Chinese media, this was also a reference to a character from the game being featured in the tournament.

Responses were still not unanimously positive, but some did make the connection to a character from Japanese manga, “Detective Conan”.
