A motorcyclist was apparently furious after a car cut abruptly into their lane on the Pan Island Expressway (PIE).

A video from the dash cam of the motorcycle was shared on the Singapore Road Vigilante Facebook page, with a caption stating that the incident happened at 11:15am on Apr. 30.

The motorcyclist was riding along the second lane from the right when a black car switched lanes in front of them.

Honking can be heard from the motorcycle and other vehicles at the back.

The motorcyclist reacted by shouting and throwing their hands up angrily at the car, then sped up to try to get next to it.

However, the car suddenly slowed down, then switched lanes again to the right, which forced the motorcycle towards the guard rail.

When the motorcyclist raced down the left side of the car instead, the car switched lanes to the left, preventing the motorcycle from getting close.

The video ended with the car driving off while the motorcyclist continued raising a thumbs-up at the car in sarcasm.

Cautioned to be safe

Some commenters on the video felt that the car was in the wrong, but also believed the motorcyclist’s response could have been dangerous.

A user suggested that the motorcyclist slow down after seeing the car overtaking, while a few said that the motorcyclist was provoking the car driver with their hand gestures and shouting.
