“Brandon is a very important player for us,” Barnes said, also via Grange. “The ball did not go in tonight. We need him to continue being aggressive and shooting. I’ve got absolute support for him. He’s going to make his shots.”
That collective belief highlights a key theme for Toronto. The team doesn’t view Ingram’s struggles as a breaking point. They see them as a temporary hurdle within a larger system built on shared responsibility.

“I’m confident that I won’t miss all my shots,” he said. “But I’m also confident in our team.”
