Amid the Taylor-mania outside New York’s Madison Square Garden, the first real clue of a major wedding bombshell could almost have been lost in the crowd.
For as Night One of superstar Swift’s nuptials with NFL hunk Travis Kelce wrapped up at the famous arena on Thursday night – and as 100 of their closest friends and family departed what is believed to have been a rehearsal dinner ahead of Friday’s bigger party – glamorously dressed guests were pictured carry mysterious gift boxes.
Lined in black velvet and fastened with a golden clasp, they looked expensive – heavy even.
One report had it that they each contained a single large Champagne flute, encrusted with real diamonds.
So far, so gaudy. But the real excitement comes in the form of the symbol etched onto each box’s velvet top: a logo of two overlapping letter Ts (the couple’s shared initial) entwined with two overlapping hearts.
Could this just be a ‘wedding logo’. Not so, say eager fans, who pointed out that the typeface of the ‘TT’ is eerily reminiscent of Swift’s ‘TTPD’ logo used for her 2024 album, The Tortured Poets Department.

And, as those same breathless fans will tell you, Swift is a self-styled mastermind who has made an industry out of teasing clues and ‘Easter eggs’ ahead of new projects. Whether it’s a carefully placed item in the background of a photo, or a specially selected phrase in a speech – nothing goes unplanned.
So could it be that – as referential as this new logo is of her past music – Swift has just teased the styling, or even the album cover itself, of a new release?
It wouldn’t be the only musical clue hidden in this wedding.
Signage outside MSG on various trucks and in arriving cars has used the word ‘Jade’, thought to be a code name for the celebrations.
For her 2022 album Midnights, Swift released a ‘Jade Green’ special vinyl edition of the record.
And Swift’s longtime friend Gigi Hadid – the supermodel who is thought to be one of her bridesmaids (Swift’s car was filmed heading to Hadid’s Manhattan home on Friday, to get ready for the big day) – debuted a heart-shaped hairdo on Thursday evening.
In an Instagram post, Hadid’s hairdresser described the style as ‘Love Layers’.
Ring a bell? Some sleuths pointed out that the two intertwined hearts in the ‘TT’ logo on Swift’s wedding gift boxes are indeed ‘love layers’, being as they are layered over each other and the lettering.

Taylor Swift’s wedding: Read all the top stories
It certainly doesn’t seem a stretch that Swift would release new music in honor of her big day.
After all, she was spotted just last month entering the famous Electric Lady recording studios in New York City.
Shortly after, a source told the Daily Mail: ‘Taylor is creating a beautiful love song for her future husband. She has been writing it for the past few weeks, she’s very excited about it.’
It will be ‘a sweet ballad’ with ‘a hypnotic chorus,’ the source added.
‘The lyrics will be about what makes their relationship click and will hint at the special, private moments they have had together.’
The source also predicted that Swift will not only sing the song to Kelce at their wedding, but that she will release it to the public afterwards.
‘It seems like Taylor has been recording the song in New York City as a single to be released on her wedding day, that sounds like a move she’d make, but who knows,’ the source said.
‘Blake Shelton released his wedding song for Gwen [Stefani], We Can Reach the Stars, and put it on one of his albums – so it’s been done before.’
So there’s precedent. But it is even possible, says our insider, that Swift has not stopped at a one-off single.
‘There has been talk that she will record an entire wedding album, but that is a lot, who knows,’ our source said. Who knows, indeed.
