Sandra Bullock shares rare photos with her kids Louis, 16, and Laila, 13, as she marks Halloween with sweet throwbacks

Sandra Bullock marked Halloween by sharing a nostalgic collection of photos on Instagram Saturday.

The 62-year-old actress, who recently made rare remarks about her late partner Bryan Randall and her former husband Jesse James, posted throwback images featuring her children, 16-year-old son Louis and 13-year-old daughter Laila.

In one picture, Bullock dressed as Jessie while Louis wore a Buzz Lightyear costume.

Another photo showed the actress and Laila posing together in matching pirate outfits.

The carousel also included footage of Bullock putting costumes on her dogs before arranging a playful photo shoot.

‘Nothing is off limits in this household. Happy Halloween from us ❤️,’ she wrote in the post, which was shared with her 7.2 million followers.

The Hollywood star also posted a childhood Halloween photo showing herself in a white suit and headdress.

The Instagram post has received more than 381,000 likes.

Bullock’s Halloween update arrived almost two months after she offered rare insight into her dating life, three years after Randall died from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) at age 57.

During an appearance on Kylie Kelce’s Not Gonna Lie podcast in September, Bullock revealed that Laila has encouraged her to start dating.

The Practical Magic 2 star recalled her daughter’s advice: ‘She said I needed to date, but only someone where they could get stuff. So I said, “What, a rapper, a basketball player? That’s the parameters?” She’s like, “Yeah.” I went, “Oh.”‘

Bullock said her children ‘don’t care’ about her career and are primarily interested in whether she returns home with things for them.

She joked: ‘My job is craft service. That’s what my job was [when they were little]. A place that had extensive craft service.’

In August, Bullock discussed the final years of Randall’s life on the SmartLess podcast, hosted by Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett.

While speaking about Randall, Bullock became emotional as she described his decision to keep his diagnosis private.

The Oscar winner said: ‘He asked me not to share. I know why he asked me not to,’ adding, ‘My sister was the only one who knew for a while.’

She said keeping Randall’s condition private ‘isolated’ her as she raised their children during the pandemic.

‘As the pandemic came down, and I have a child with severe asthma, I was panicking. I had two young kids that were navigating it, especially a little girl who saw him as a father figure,’ she recalled. ‘I wasn’t allowed to tell anybody…. It’s a huge weight.’

Bullock said she ultimately opened up about Randall’s illness to close friends Jennifer Aniston and Amanda Anka, Bateman’s wife.

According to MayoClinic, ALS is ‘a nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.’

Because the disease progresses rapidly, Bullock said she was ‘grieving Bryan four years before he passed.’

During the Thursday podcast episode, the actress also explained that she organizes her professional choices around her son and daughter.

‘My kids are my everything, so if it doesn’t work for them and my time with them, then I’m not doing it,’ she told Kelce.
