Halle Berry arrived at a Los Angeles courthouse Monday in a polished all-black look as her custody dispute with former husband Olivier Martinez continued.
The 60-year-old actress held hands with her fiancé, 56-year-old musician Van Hunt, while wearing a long black coat over a button-down shirt, gray trousers and black sandals.
Berry styled her brown hair in a curly bob, completing the look with black sunglasses and a vertical leather tote carried at her side.
Hunt accompanied her in a navy suit, tan button-up shirt and black dress shoes as he offered support outside the courthouse.
Earlier this month, Martinez, 60, secured a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Berry. He accused her of “physically abusing” their 13-year-old son, Maceo, alleging that she “jumped on him and choked him” during a September 26 incident. Berry has denied the accusations.
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for both Berry and Martinez for comment but has not received a response.

Martinez was questioned by attorneys representing both sides on Friday, according to a minute order reviewed by The Daily Mail.
Court documents also state that Hunt testified Friday under questioning from Berry’s attorneys. The musician was present at the location during the incident involving Berry and her son.
After Hunt’s testimony, Martinez’s attorneys sought to recall Maceo as a rebuttal witness and have him testify remotely, according to the minute order.
Martinez later withdrew that request after the court ruled that any further testimony from Maceo would have to be given in person, court documents said.
Page Six reported that Hunt left the courthouse around 4 p.m. Friday and appeared “relieved” after completing his testimony. He was reportedly seen laughing with one of Berry’s attorneys.
Berry was also seen touching Hunt’s arm as the couple left the courthouse, according to the outlet.
Martinez and his legal team reportedly departed the courtroom at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Berry’s daughter, 18-year-old Nahla Aubry, was expected to testify remotely during Monday’s hearing, the publication reported.

In a filing submitted earlier this month to Los Angeles Superior Court and reviewed by The Daily Mail, Berry accused Martinez of repeatedly involving himself in disputes over Maceo’s education and therapy, saying his actions had hindered progress on several fronts.
Berry also alleged that Martinez had improperly drawn Maceo into the custody dispute and weakened her efforts to support their teenage son, according to the filing.
She asked the court to grant her “sole legal custody over matters relating to Maceo’s education, healthcare, and mental-health treatment” and to extend her tie-breaking authority indefinitely.
Those measures, Berry argued, are necessary “so that necessary interventions can be implemented without continued delay, conflict, and harm to the child.”
Berry’s attorneys wrote that the case “has been and continues to be about Olivier’s efforts to use manipulation, alienation, and litigation to obstruct necessary interventions for Maceo and to circumvent orders.”
Her legal team further argued that the claims were not simply Berry’s “characterization of events,” stating that Martinez’s alleged conduct had been documented through judicial findings, court orders and sanctions.

Berry said Maceo’s “behavioral issues at school have significantly escalated” since the temporary restraining order was issued earlier this month.
She cited letters from school administrators stating that Maceo had become “increasingly oppositional, defiant, and disrespectful toward both peers and authority figures.”
According to Berry’s filing, school officials also reported that Maceo had become more disruptive, harassed a younger student, used inappropriate language and thrown objects at classmates. He was reportedly assigned a week of detention and independently announced that he was switching schools.
Berry further alleged that Martinez had encouraged Maceo to believe he could participate in decisions involving his education, healthcare, extracurricular activities and overall welfare.
Alongside her request for sole legal custody, Berry asked the court to order Maceo to attend a year of therapy, including both individual and joint sessions, with a therapist she selects.
Berry also requested that she and Martinez communicate exclusively through Our Family Wizard, a co-parenting application. Under her proposed arrangement, each parent would check the app once daily and send no more than one message per day unless an emergency arose.
Berry and Martinez were married from 2013 until 2015, with their divorce finalized in 2023.
