Breaking Bad actor Dean Norris and his wife of more than two decades, Bridget Norris, are ending their marriage amid serious financial difficulties.
Bridget, 63, filed for divorce in Riverside County, California, in 2025, listing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, according to court records obtained by TMZ.
The couple married in October 2001 and, according to the filing, separated on January 15, 2025.
Dean and Bridget share five children, including two minors, Zoe, 17, and Dean, 16. Bridget has requested joint legal and physical custody of the younger children.
She also sought spousal support and asked the court to establish each party’s rights to property acquired during the marriage.
The Daily Mail has contacted Dean Norris’ representatives for comment.

Norris filed a response several months later, although the divorce does not appear to have been finalized.
The court records also show that the couple are navigating a Chapter 11 bankruptcy involving Swing Inn Cafe, their Temecula, California, restaurant, which they purchased in 2022.
Norris reported that the business’ gross revenue fell by $1 million between 2024 and 2025.
The company listed approximately $100,000 to $500,000 in assets, alongside liabilities estimated at between $1 million and $10 million.
In addition to the cafe, the estranged couple also oversee the Norris Performing Arts Center.
Norris rose to fame as DEA agent Hank Schrader on Breaking Bad, appearing in the hit AMC series from 2008 through 2013.
Hank was the outspoken brother-in-law of Walter White, the drug kingpin portrayed by Bryan Cranston.
Norris later returned to the role in the Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul.

More recently, the actor appeared in the legal drama Confession alongside Rob Lowe and James Franco, as well as in four episodes of Liam and Michael.
Norris was also among those mourning the death of his Breaking Bad co-star RJ Mitte, who died by suicide at the age of 34 last month.
Norris, Cranston and Aaron Paul were among the first cast members to publicly respond to Mitte’s death.
In a post on X, Norris, who played the uncle of Mitte’s character, wrote: “Oh my God! Was working, just found out about RJ. I am heartbroken. Though RJ didn’t play my TV son, I always looked out for him as a young kid on set.”
“He was a sweetheart of a young man and will be greatly missed. This is so heartbreaking, I can’t believe it. Thinking of him and his family.”
A county official confirmed to TMZ that Mitte, best known for playing Walter White Jr. on the AMC drama, died in Texas.
The outlet also reported that a separate source said Mitte had died by suicide.
Cranston, 70, shared his grief in an emotional Instagram tribute, saying he was “in deep despair” following the death of his on-screen son and adding, “I’ll miss you, son.”

Cranston said it was “especially devastating” that Mitte “took his own life,” adding that the two had recently exchanged messages and were planning to meet for lunch.
Paul, 47, who portrayed Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, told The Hollywood Reporter: “I am at a loss.
“I am heartbroken over this news. RJ, I love you my friend. You will be missed. And to whoever happens to be reading this, please know you are loved, and you are not alone. Always remember that.”
Mitte was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at age three and later became an advocate for disabled performers and others working in the entertainment industry.
Cerebral palsy refers to a group of conditions affecting movement, posture and balance, generally caused by atypical brain development or damage. Symptoms can include muscle stiffness, reduced motor control, and challenges with coordination and balance.
