Denise Richards’ estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, could soon face homelessness alongside his elderly parents and brother after a judge ordered them to leave the Los Angeles mansion once shared by the former couple.
A Los Angeles court ruled last week that landlord John Karan was entitled to reclaim the six-bedroom, five-bathroom property in Calabasas, California, following alleged non-payment of rent. The 6,985-square-foot home, valued at $3.3 million, may also be tied to a further claim for approximately $84,000 in unpaid rent, pending another court decision.
In what appears to be a final attempt to raise funds, Phypers’ mother, Patricia, has created a GoFundMe campaign titled “Please Help My Son Aaron — A Grandmother’s Cry for Justice.”
The fundraiser was posted on December 4 with a target of $110,000. By Wednesday afternoon, it had collected $1,308 from seven contributors.
“I am a mother and a grandmother begging the public for help,” Patricia wrote in the appeal. She alleged that her son had been “destroyed by false allegations, Hollywood power, and a system determined to silence him.”
The campaign also states that Patricia and other members of the family helped care for Richards’ animals, including numerous dogs and cats.

“Now my son — the man who carried this entire household — has been cut off, slandered, starved, wrongfully arrested, and left with nothing,” Patricia alleged.
She continued: “No income. No home. No ability to fight back.” Patricia also claimed that the family’s utilities were facing disconnection, her pension had been exhausted and they had run out of options.
Aaron, who filed for divorce from Richards in July 2025 after six years of marriage, has lived at the Los Angeles property with his parents in recent years.
In September, the family offered a televised look inside the reportedly unkempt mansion and blamed Richards for its condition. Richards has said she had not lived there for two years. That same month, she removed her personal belongings and 15 dogs from the home.
The Phypers family now says it has been left carrying the property’s financial responsibilities and is struggling to cope.
A source close to the family told Our News Outlet on Wednesday that Aaron’s 83-year-old parents “will be put on the streets.”
“[Aaron] is broke. He has no money. He hasn’t had a dime,” the insider claimed, adding that the former holistic healer has allegedly been unable to secure work because he lacks access to documentation required for employment.

Aaron’s brother, Brett Phypers, also resided at the mansion
Aaron shut down his wellness company, Quantum 360 Club, about a year ago and has reportedly been unable to find another job since.

The source further claimed that the family’s Canadian citizenship prevents them from receiving government assistance in the United States.
“The motorcycle that he has, he can’t even sell it because [Richards] has the title on it,” the insider alleged. “He has no transportation. The truck — they’re trying to repossess it. He has nothing left.”
It remains unclear why Aaron’s brother, Brett, has also been unable to find work.
Because of his financial difficulties, Aaron is expected to seek repayment for money he and his parents believe they are owed during a court hearing scheduled for January 7.
Aaron has previously claimed that he owns the rights and copyrights to material from Richards’ OnlyFans account, which reportedly generates around $250,000 per month.
Richards has not publicly addressed that specific allegation. However, she reportedly asked a judge for spousal support in September.
The Phypers are also expected to argue that they should be reimbursed for thousands of dollars they say they spent caring for Richards’ dogs, including money from their savings.

According to the source, the family’s greatest emotional pain has been its alleged lack of contact with Eloise.
Richards, 54, shares two daughters with former husband Charlie Sheen: Sami, 20, and Lola, 19. She also adopted Eloise, 14, who has special needs.
Aaron, 53, previously told People that during his marriage to Richards he believed he had legally adopted Eloise after signing what he understood to be the necessary paperwork. He alleged that Richards never completed the filing. Richards did not respond to that claim at the time.
During the couple’s separation, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum secured a five-year restraining order against Aaron after he was charged with two felony counts related to alleged injury to a spouse. Aaron has consistently denied the domestic violence allegations, and the criminal case remains ongoing.
A source told the Daily Mail that the Phypers moved into the Los Angeles mansion because they viewed it as an opportunity to build a relationship with Eloise and serve as grandparents to Richards’ other two daughters.
Aaron faces a difficult legal fight as he seeks financial assistance from his estranged wife. Previous requests for emergency hearings concerning the couple’s finances have already been denied.
The family has also reportedly been told that Aaron no longer has legal representation because he cannot afford an attorney.
Richards is said to be angry over his financial demands and previously asked the court not to require her to provide him with money.
A representative for Richards did not immediately respond to Our News Outlet’s request for comment.
